My two children have been attending Meladrama for about 10 months. During this time they have both grown in confidence and ability. Mel brings her own experience and talent to her classes and works to develop each childs talents individually.

My eldest has learnt that acting isn’t just reading words from a script. She is learning about creating characters, listening and pausing before responding, self discipline and so much more. She has also formed a love for accents thanks to Leo’s coaching and guidance during a 3 day showreel intensive workshop, last summer.

My youngest who wasn’t very confident when he started Meladrama has performed in front of an audience and surprised me with his willingness to participate, while still having fun. Before he started Meladrama he was always happier to blend into the background so seeing him come out of his shell has been wonderful. He has really started to believe in himself thanks to Mel giving him the tools, support and praise to shine.

Both children have formed peer friendships at Meladrama and every week they can tell me exactly what they’ve been working on.

Due to Mel’s passion for safeguarding children/ teens/ everyone, I feel comfortable leaving my children at Meladrama and confident that they are in safe hands.
