Interactive Teaching

I joined the group in 2016, as I want to broaden my opportunities in acting. I’ve enjoyed being involved the amateur drama groups I first joined in 2007. Mel teaches acting skills in an interactive way, using role play & games. Mel is a great teacher & encourager. She is very good director of the two productions I’ve been involved in – Victoria Wood sketches & the production of Scrooge the group recently presented. Both events were received warmly by the audiences who came to watch. Mel is doing her best to help everyone in the group find their opening into the showbiz world – which she is managing to do. I look forward to working with Mel again this year, learning more skills & seeing what doors open up for me & everyone else in the group.
