👉 Mali is starring in the brand-new Netflix drama “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t”, the third instalment of the global blockbuster franchise. Set to release in cinemas this November, the film reunites the original Horsemen (Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher & co) with new faces for another mind-blowing heist – and our very own Mali is in the mix!
👉 Jacob will appear in Amazon Prime’s epic new biblical drama “House of David”, which premiered earlier this year to millions of viewers worldwide and has already been renewed for a second season. The show brings the story of King David to life with a gritty, high-budget, cinematic style – and Jacob’s performance is a proud moment for us all at Meladrama.

They’ve both faced knockbacks, rejections, and the highs and lows that come with this industry – and every time, they’ve come back stronger. Their resilience, professionalism, and humility are just as impressive as their on-screen talents. Ask any of their classmates, and they’ll tell you the same – these two lift the whole room.

🎬 WHO ARE WE?
I’m Melanie Ash (BA HONS/ALAM) – a professional actor and director who has worked in TV, theatre, and film since I was 12. You might know me as the mum of Leo Ashton (The Bay, Deep Water, House of the Dragon), but I’ve also had the privilege of helping hundreds of young actors secure agents, book roles, build confidence, and find their voice – both on stage and off.
We are a fully inclusive, trauma-informed, and neurodiverse-friendly acting school that welcomes children, teens, and adults of all abilities and backgrounds. Whether you’re dreaming of Hollywood or just looking for a creative outlet and community, there’s a place for you here.
